Mother 3 ((Earthbound))

Mother 3 is a 2006 RPG developed by Nintendo and published for the Game Boy Advance handheld game console. but the game has only been released in Japan.

I recently looked on eBay for it ((thinking it would be cheap)) and the prices ranged from 50 $'s to 500 $'s :eek:

because it's an import and hasnt been in production for years. :rolleyes:

the Game looks really kewl i've only played for a few minutes and it gave me the feel of a cross between Pokémon and Harvest Moon: More Friends Of Mineral Town for GBA

Check out the Gameplay: althought the Video doesn't do it Justice at all

i Love how you can Custom Name all 5 Characters including the Family Dog,
and also Custom Pick a fav food (( i picked Phở of course )) :happyheart:

and a Fav "Thing" (( i picked Opium of course :lol:

)) that comes into Play later.

if your interested in Playing Mother 3 which i hope you would be so i can make a Friend to Chat with about it :blush:

i have Found a Great, Safe to Download, Working, User-Friendly Gameboy Advance Emulator
it can be Found here emulator-zone.com i recomend the Visual Boy Advanced GBA Emulator :thumbup:

i have also found an English Translated Mother 3 ROM that Works and is Safe to Download

I've been using coolrom.com for years, I love it. I played Mother 3 for a little bit and then got distracted by real life. I'm glad you reminded me to pick it up and finish it. Ness is one of my favorite Nintendo characters of all time and it's fun to get to play as Lucas.

Anyone who wants to play this should consider getting the rom for earthbound and beating that first.

I was so excited when I read about the Earthbound 64 remake and just devastated when I read it was cancelled. :frown:

Mother 3 was kind of sad, especially the ending. :frown:

But I loved the chapter where you trip on the "energizing mushrooms" lol. I swear too, in Earthbound / Mother 2 the "coffee" the Mr. Saturn gives you is Ayahuasca or something! :lol:

A fucking lot actually if you listened to the background tracks from earthbound they were litterally plucked from bands like the Beatles, the Who, Sgt. Peppers and more, I think the samba song in thre is a very old song and there's countless other musical styles like southern "Fat cats" style piano and acdc in the blues section.

I mean the music of the Mother series is probably more redeeming then the ties to art on steroids that accompany every game.
