Square in the face. Her nose was bleeding for a long time. I think much less of him now.
I've been sittin through painful arguments between him and his family etc.
He made her feel bad for "putting him over the edge" and shit.
Basically I had no idea he was capable of something like this
What should I do? Is this grounds for ducking his calls etc?
I hate confrontation

She has decided to leave him already, she's moving out and he cant afford rent. He's going to be homeless soon, as a matter of fact.
He owes her rent money that he's not going to pay, etc.
All bad stuff.

I'd only hit a woman if she was in the process of hitting me and I felt I was in more danger than a slap or a cuff to the jaw.

better to be a little short on money than end up hospitalized because

my ex wife threw stuff at me and hit me several times, I certainly had
provocation, I've been provoked many times by numerous people, one openly
admits he was trying to push me to react but I get more pleasure in not
