For everyone who didn't see my earlier post, I wanted to give a heads-up that we're performing a bunch of maintenance and upgrades this weekend. The main purpose for this work is to address the frequent downtime and extreme slowness on the site. Starting Friday in the late afternoon or early evening, the BB will be in read-only mode and/or the site could be completely inaccessible for much of the night. On Saturday morning, there will be some additional downtime, but it will be much more brief. Following this work, there may be some broken functionality and weird bugs, but we'll be identifying and fixing these as quickly as possible. Thanks everyone for bearing with!

Well sad to hear about the down time ( will definately be having withdrawals) but glad to hear these problems are finally being addressed. The shroomery is the most unreliable and glitchy website I have ever seen.
You guys have no idea what it takes to maintain something like this... I admin a simple mybb forum of ~150 members, and its tough dealing with them/it sometimes... I can only imagine a userbase like one of the shroomery's...
Thanks for the heads-up. I'm sure it'll be worth it in the long run. Perhaps this will also provide members with an INCREASE in security and make us more hacker-proof and less prone to attack?????????? That would be worth a week's worth of down-time, IMHO.
Anyway, many, many thanks for doing so much to provide this invaluable forum. We take so much of your efforts for granted. We, the members certainly should stop every once in a while and acknowledge our appreciation.

Sounds like time for an impromtu gathering... If we cant be ass holes to eachother online for a night and day, we could at least get together and talkshit to eachothers faces...
