IT'S RAINING HALLELUJAH

Yeah that's right, I'm posting about it raining. I'm so happy though. It's REAL rain too, not any of that sprinklin' shit. I think the news said yesterday that Indiana has had less than 1/8" of rainfall since June 10 or something crazy like that. Praise allah! After my yoga practice yesterday I actually "prayed" for rain. You're welcome.

well don't worry, it'll probably flood since the ground is rock hard and can't absorb all the rain.

We've gotten pretty regular rainfall here in Florida this summer, which is odd because damn near the entire rest of the eastern US is in a drought spell.
Go outside and dance.

You mean you haven't gotten any good rain in Indiana in the last month? You must be somewhere North. I live near South Central Indiana and we have had several heavy, soaking rainfalls in the last two weeks.
Go outside and dance in the rain!

I just reread the title and initial post and got confused. Praise Allah and Hallelujah? Can those be used in the same context? lol

of course, they're just phrases for me. i claim no religion so i can borrow from whatever ones i want and i absolutely did go outside and dance. didn't take long to get soaked. and strange, i live close to where you do (i don't want to be too specific) but it's merely sprinkled maybe twice in the past month!

Well I'm near the Ohio Valley area if you know what I'm talking about. Near a strange land known only as Kentuckiana. Everytime I say that I want there to be wind chimes playing in the background, the sky to go black, my eyes to glow and the wind to kick my hair up. Muhahahahahahhaahahaha.

The great basin needs rain too. We had shit for snow this past winter, and there's no snow left to melt to fill the mountain lakes and streams. We're drying up out here. D:

Jersey hasn't gotten good rain in ages, plus numerous weeks of 100+ temps. Not complaining though, fucking LOVE the heat, even the humidity. I work by Newark where it's always 10 degrees hotter than where I live in the 'burbs so it's even better But it's straight up monsooning right now, I hesitate to even call it rain. I could hardly drive before. Love rain too though, and we needed it

Heh from January 1st, to current date July 18th. 2.62" of precipitation. Forecast shows one day @ 10% chance of rain in the next 10 days, probably won't rain on that day either.

I love the rain, especially during summer. I used to hate it, but I started missing it since it never rains.

God damn that blows. Nothing better than the woods after it downpours and the sun comes back out. But being in Nevada I don't think you can experience that either way

Where do you live? There's certainly a cut off of good rain/annoying rain/ABYSMAL rain, in terms of how rainy it is over X amount of time. But for the most part I love it.

As a child I remember us getting rain at least a couple times a month in NV, even if it wasn't a lot. Lately it just seems like nothing comes through ever though. Hopefully this post-typhoon in the pacific that's pushing through SoCal will bring some much needed water to this baron dry land though.
