Can't quite place these.

I can't quite figure out what these guys are since I am out working, but they are intriguing enough to make me take a quick break and post them up here. The cap and stem are exquisitely slimy, especially when wet. The base of the stem and the cap both very slowly bruise brownish. The texture of the mushroom is exactly akin to a slimy marshmallow. If I were blindfolded and handed this I would instantly think soggy slimy marshmallow. I am currently trying for a ghetto spore print in the back of my truck   Thoughts?

Ah, of course! I for some reason thought Limacella didn't get this white . Thanks!

How's about Lyophyllum?

I looked at Limacella on my last break - while it can lose its veil pretty quickly shouldn't there be fibrils? The staining isn't consistent either.

You never mentioned the ecology suchen.

i agree with Limacella and L. illinita is the only pure white one I know. veil remnants are slimy and quickly become unnoticeable in my experience. Not sure on consistency of staining aside from this not being variation rubescens

These were growing in lush grass in a nice lawn. I found them in the same place a month ago, but didn't have time to photograph/collect. Limacella is pretty variable in terms of habitat apparently. Thanks again for the help gang.
