I want to commit suicide!! I'm the mother of 2 grown children, wife of a selfish husband. Unemployed, depressed, thing that maybe I could inject air to vein to do it...all other options are out to me. I've lived a very traumatized life beginning when I was 8. Now over 1/2 century, things not better. Ideally, Carbone monoxide sounds great. But I have NO CAR, CAN'T LEAVE APT. on HOUSE ARREST FOR DUI. Anyone have thoughts? Not into Shrooms.

I can't be a supporter, have no money. But I'm completely lost!!! I want to end life as I'm living. Married w/ 2 grown children. Hard marrige, made many mistakes along way. At moment on House arrest, DUI.
Looking for easy way out. Thought maybe that I could inject a air bubble to veins. Think that can work?

If you're on house arrest and an ankle bracelet and suicidal why do you care about house arrest? It's not like they'll throw your corpse in a jail cell. Even if they did who cares you won't need your broken down body anymore. Go jump off a bridge or tall building or shoot hour brains out or drink draino or hang yourself. Ending your life isn't hard if you have the courage to follow through. What's hard is working up the constitution to follow through. Welcome to ASH, sorry you're here.

Planning and actually going through with it might be harder then you think, at least with me. So many natural bodily instincts to survive that kick in even subconsciously it's not that easy to do.

Have you ever thought about how pathetic, mentally unstable or sad people will think you were if you commit suicide,
i mean your dead so why would you even care, but it's just something that used to bother me.

Helium. Get a tank of helium and a gas mask, put the gas mask on, and breathe through it. Your brain won't recognize it's not oxygen, but you'll still suffocate... without panic. And, there is a next to ZERO percent chance you'll be saved. You also pass out fairly quickly, and after that point, you're as good as dead.. just breathing in more and more helium....

How on earth can any of you sick fucks actually post ideas. Why is this thread even allowed when people like Wakeboarder, or other shroomerites actually have made the leap to kill themselves ( with some succeeding )

999, The mammal body doesn't actually notice the presence of oxygen. What we associate with not getting enough oxygen is actually a result of carbon dioxide buildup in the blood not anything to do with oxygen. The helium method thus is great to asphyxiate ones self without the associated feelings of suffocating. I'd caution though to use a really big tank of helium and not cheap out on one of those tiny balloon tanks. You don't want to end up brain damaged because you ran out of helium before you died. Get at least real oxygen tank and have it filled with helium.

Don't try to force your moral ideas on other people. Personally I'm strongly opposed to impulsive suicide but support the right to die. This thread has probably helped a lot of terminally ill people end their suffering. People like you are more merciful to a suffering dog or horse than to a suffering person. Shame on you.

The action or non-action of Shroomery moderators has nothing to do with so called "free speech" or "censorship". The Shroomery is not a publicly owned place so there is no guarantee of free speech and moderator action could not rightly be considered censorship. Just thought I'd clear that up. Learn the difference between the public and private sector.

I decided on a method I'll drive to a vacant park at night take all the meds crush it up and put it in a bottle of alcohol and just end it that way.

My friend Ted Gaily committed suicide by cutting his own throat and wrists. He had a lot of courage and I still admire his constitution and character. I for one couldn't do it that way. Anon 43, are you terminally ill or a victim of some painful disease? If not please don't make your decision hastily. Take at least a few weeks to determine if your decision is correct. Regards.

I think it was Robin Williams who had a funny line about it. Someone jumped from the San Fran brindge and survived it and said later that half way down he thought it was a bad idea.
Personally I'd rather land on hard rock to be sure if I made that choice than a bridge or hitting hard into water.

I think the people the regret it halfway down to the water regret it because of survival instinct and not the fact that they actually want to die. Overriding your survival instinct is rather hard.
On that note. Is carbon monoxide a good way to off yourself? Dr Kevorkian used a CO tank when he ran out of drugs.
