 Cactus Dude's Stop and Shop...   2

Hi Fellas...
A few weeks ago I posted about this really funky little cactus joint I found by accident, tucked away in a small vacant lot just a couple miles from my house. It's just FULL of very cool cacti. I promised you guys I would take some photos the next time I went there. I went today...
So, Here you go!
This is what you see when you walk in...
This is Cactus Dude and his GIANT Trichocereus peruvianus. Cactus Dude knows everything you can possibly think of about cacti, and he LOVES to talk about them! He tells me that he has a giant cactus field somewhere out in the desert where he grows all these beauties. He told me that this peruvianus pups wherever it gets damaged, and when he was bringing it to the shop from the field, it cracked in many places. This was the result!
There are little piles of these everywhere you look...
Some colorful peruvianus pups...
A lovely terscheki...
And finally, a nice little group of various cacti and some potted bridgesii with a few monstrose thrown in for variety.
I hope you enjoyed the show as much as I enjoyed making it for you!

I visited this little nursery while visiting San Diego. Quite a
collection to choose from, with decent prices. Brought a bunch of
cacti on the plane back. They had a nice monstrose bridgsii that I
bought.

Yep, I am sure you have been there because you got the city dead to rights... Isn't that the coolest fuckin' place or what??? I know you must have had a nice time with Cactus Dude. He will keep you there all day telling stories and stories and more stories about each plant in the place.
I think it's very cool that you carried cacti on the plane home with you. He still has a gang of bridgesii monstrose just sitting all around in little nooks and corners of the place.
The prices in this place are the best I have seen anywhere, and Cactus Dude will wheel and deal with you if he likes you. He's really not in it for the money. He just LOVES to grow cactus!

This is freaking awesome. No shops like this around me... Or none that I've ever been able to find at least. And believe me, I've tried!
