Not really if its a cheap wine....if its a good wine then a proper glass is a must along with a decanter.

very little. the big wine glass allows you to swirl the wine, getting it more oxygenated. also the stem of the wine glass (where you hold it) prevents your hands from warming the wine. and finally you wont be able to fully put your nose in the glass to smell all the aromas.
but the glass you got will get you fucked up just fine!

I have got to say the wine buzz is one of the best. I have had a lot of expensive wines though, My boss is a rich ass that likes to brag, but only one wine I have run into I thought was worth the money.
