i mean, its pretty rough for me to toke a half gram of weed in one toke.
a half gram of freebase powder is REALLY rough to choke down a half gram in one toke.

That could be a possibility. I usually hit it with a little flame. and try to let it burn down itself, but I'll try putting some weed over the top of it next time.

You are most likely wasting it. Direct flame = BAD.
Direct flame destroys dmt.
Smoke it like you would meth / crack / freebase. In a freebase pipe / lightbulb pipe.

No source allowed, but, googling will land you good results.
Mimosa Hostilis is legal, but in a grey area. It could be technically illegal as a container for DMT, henvr mushrooms being a container for psilocybin.
