 First grow in a loooong time--poor flushes, any ideas chaps.?

Howdy all, long time no see! 
I'm getting back into growing after a long old holiday. I've usually kept a few small stone grows going on to keep me in the  (and I've had some cracking times-Australian Pink Floyd live on shrooms = Pure Win
Anyways, have finally got my shit together and I've set up my first cubie grow in years-7 1/2 pint F+ jars. They were 'nocced about 5 days ago, sitting in an incubator and they're going strong.!
  
It's ridiculous how much I'm enjoying the grow already, I'd forgotten the love as the beautiful myc spreads. Just counting down on birthing day.

And Rumfor dude, APF was mind boggling. Seriously, I love the floyd, and the band blatantly do too. Absolutely quality tunage, perfectly done, and visual splendour galore. Like, seriously.
   
Funny as hell when they had an intermission halfway through mind, the lights all come on and there's me and the missus off our tits in the middle of a suddenly very normal venue-eek 
Can't recommend them enough to anyone, one of the best live shows I've ever seen.

this shit is addicting, ain't it? i've quit 3 times over the past 12 years and each time i didn't think i would get back into it. it just doesn't seem to work that way, not once you have had success at it. seems that once you jump on, your in for life.

Howdy all!
Quickie update: 12 days after inoculation, and all but one of the jars is 100%! 
  
They're slightly moister than I'd ideally like (as is obvious in the piccies). Not sure how it happened; there's a lot of moisture and condensation inside the box, but I've got the jars protected from drips that could seep through the micropore. But it doesn't seem to have done them any harm. 
I've kept them in a heated incubator (25'C), and the one that's about 50% done was furthest from the warm water, so was slightly cooler than the rest. I've swapped them around to try and help the lagger catch up to his brother myc, but is basically just a waiting game now for consolidation, then the beautiful birthing day.
I'm not gonna lie, I'm  already. Happy days a'coming.

OMG OMG OMG!
I've been leaving the jars to consolidate for a week or so before birthing them, but I just couldn't resist having a peeksie tonight, and I've got in vitro fruits!! I've never had in vitro fruits before.
Don't believe me? See for yourself! 
I'm excited like a virgin noob , it's like seeing those first pins all over again. I'm not exactly sure how to treat these cakes-I'm assuming-carefully dunk and roll as normal.? Or do I have to remove the fruits first, as I'm guessing there's a fair chance they'll rip off anyway. I doubt there's any chance of them rotting underwater for 24 hours..?
I call on the voices of experience here-what's the consensus for the cause of in vitro pinning.? This is a multispore shoot, but the myc growth has seemed phenomenal-I've never seen rhizo growth like some of these jars have displayed...could I just have struck on a ridiculously aggressive genetic strain, or are there some direct causes of in vitro pinning conditions wise..?

Those look great!!
If you don't want vitro pins just make sure they stay in the dark while
consolidating. It helps to prevent that i've noticed.

Well, first flush was a little disappointing.
A couple of the in vitro pins aborted once in the fc, and the cakes didn't flush that well-best was a single 30g monster shroom from one cake. I've not got a dry weight yet-I'd say probably 5-7g dry from 5 cakes. Not awesome.
But they're dunked, rolled and already beginning to pin their second flush now:
 
So fingers crossed for a more prolific second flush.
I have sometimes found the second flush on F+ to be a little more plentiful, so we shall see what we shall see.

Another disappointing flush-I've only got a couple of shrooms growing from a few cakes, and they're all tearing the veil pretty bloody early. Here's the shroom from the cake on the right in the post above:
Has anyone got any ideas.?
There is a fuzzy myc buildup at the base of the stem-did I read somewhere that this kind of build up indicates poor FAE..?
I'm quite disappointed Was only after about 120g wet from this grow, and I've barely hit 60g at the moment.

I have never done cakes so i can't help you here.
But if you want kickass results why you don't try a monotub grow.

okay well I have a theory of why your flush wasn't as successful...
First, did you use spores. I am assuming yes...
And I can't explain WHY well enough so ill just say, basically multi spore (MS) is a crappy shoot cuz not all myc bears fruits, mushrooms.
To fix this, people clone their biggest fruit to agar. Then they make a master grain jar. And from that many more myc jars of which in theory will produce flushed full of replica mushrooms. Wich is super dope shit, cuz what just happened to you won't happen again.

 Yep what ^they said. & definitely looks like you've got the fuzzy feet going onstep up the fanning frequency if possible or more holes...man you've got fruits tho so you're on the right track. I would mist heavily and more importantly, fan heavily. If you can watch water evaporate, you'll get dense pinsets. At least that's been my experience with cakes. The pre pin phase is very important. All that< plus bright light.

Mateo:I have considered trying a monotub-I have a small supply of grain and a brick of coir. Obviously,I have verm too. Might be the next logical step-I've grown loads of sclerotia,do I'm down with the rye. Some of the coir grows on here are sick.
Apprentice:T'was indeed an MS shoot.The rhizo growth was mad,but the fruit flush poor.
I do have access to agar from work,so I could work up a slant...
