What is on the agenda for the week?

Congress just got back from the Independence Day break, and now that we're in the heat of summer, people should start getting to work right?
Right?
Right?
Well, even though Obama is single-handedly destroying the economy, even though the Democratic controlled Senate won't bring a single bill to the floor, the House Conservatives have what on the Agenda?
Trying to work across the isle? Working on the 2013 fiscal cliff? Trying to work on real tax reform? (But of course Mitchy McConnell already said that won't happen until next year, when he thinks the GOP will have a "50-50" shot at winning the senate, assumes the GOP will keep the house, and Romney will be president)
Of course not, doing something productive!! Good one.
Banning abortion and The 31st attempt to Repeal the PPACA
God damn, feels good to know that those Conservatives are really working hard at getting people back to work.

They should pass a bill to ban the PPCA every day and force the politicians that passed it in the first place to keep having to vote for the enormously unpopular piece of shit. The abortion vote is in committee, limited to DC and only applies to those after 20 weeks. Your link
Quote:
Currently, in the District of Columbia, abortion is legal for any reason, until the very moment of birth.
I'm rather dubious of that.

Except, partial birth abortions are illegal, so, any doctor who does something besides delivering the fetus and seeing if it will live is illegal. And if the fetus cannot live outside the mother's womb, then how can it be considered viable? And if it is not considered viable, how can you consider it anything besides a part of the mother who wants it removed?
How the fuck can you "abort" a baby at the moment of birth? Isn't that called, giving birth?
So, the only thing that is dubious is why you care so much about other people's lives.
But, of course you would say let's not do ANYTHING to work forward (repeal parts of the PPACA, propose something besides the PPACA, put off repeal until it stand a chance in the Senate), let's just regress, and regress, and regress.
Ridiculous.

Of course none of the the New Reich (Right) want to touch this subject. People working towards something beneficial? You've got to be kidding me.
Let's just keep voting to ban abortions, voting to end access to healthcare to those who previously couldn't afford it, voting to end the United States of America, the greatest country on earth, in order to usher in a plutocracy.
Fuck ya'll. Obama/Biden 2012
