 Growths AA+ and Treasure Coast Grow Log - Updated - 8/14/12 - FAIL!!!!

This will be my first grow log with updates and pictures through out the grow.
I am starting off with 10 1qt grain jars and once fully colonized i will transfer the spawn to a coir/ verm mix. I will be using 2 18g tubs, 1 using TC multi spores and the other using AA. I am interested to see the difference in strains while growing in the same environment.
Wish me luck and keep an eye out for my updates/ pics. This should be a fun grow.

6 days later and i finally have some growth. all 10 jars show signs, but this one has the most growth.

im following along side Damions tek.
1 Brick of Coir
2 Quarts of Verm
5 Quarts of Spawn
per bucket, if all jars make it.

this was taken about 10 minutes ago. the one on the left is Treasure Coast and obviously the one on the right is AA+.
i am noticing that AA is growing a tad bit faster then TC, but all is growing nicely along side each other.

at what point should i shake the jars up? ive heard 30%, ive heard 40%, i even heard 75%.
i honestly was going to go with 40%....

i cant believe how fast this shits growing! this is going to be one hell of a grow.
it is a pain in the ass to try and take a pic of all jars cause i would have to take them all out then put em back so im only doing 1 jar for now.

Today was the first shaking of the jars. I did feel a little bad, but i know its for the best.
there were clumps of grain/ myc that i could not break up so i did try and force them to the middle of the jars.
everything is still looking great! GONNA BE A GREAT GROW!!!

Grow logs are cool but would be SOOOOOO much better if the people would post their logs AFTER the grow. That way we'd have pictures, resutls, ect..
Not to be trashing, but everyone thinks it!

im doing a day to day kinda thing...
that way you can sit right along side me and watch the grow as well. im also doing it this way in case i run into any problems along the way. i would like to keep it all grouped together.
