Shroomerites are way more predictable than I would expect.....
    #16491074 - 07/06/12 06:31 PM (11 months, 7 days ago)

before i even begin:

***RAPING MY RATINGS WILL JUST REINFORCE MY STANCE ON THIS***

Most of y'all claim to be open minded.... but FLIP FUCKING SHIT when people with religous backgrounds post their beliefs...
          - for example the "What if we gave Christians all they wanted" thread. You're right.....Christianity is                          the fucking devil and has never contributed for the betterment of society (sarcasm). Oh and YES, your revelations while on an extravangant dose of DMT are so much more legitamate.... (sarcasm again)

Next, I go onto a Skrillex thread......but i already knew EXACTLY what y'all were going to say,

If i posted about Marijuana being addictive.....most of you will be all "OMGz no its not, I never took twelve dicks in my ass for bud, like i did for heroin."

in fact, if i even said something negative about cannabis, i would likely get flamed.

A lot of you guys SERIOUSLY need to work on not being so hypocritical.....If you were "openminded" you would NEVER flame someone because of their opinion (if it is reasonable and not offensive)

Wellp.....go ahead and flame/rate me down....i'm already EXPECTING it.....

/rant. i really do love you all though. sorry to sound bitter.

It's the internet.  The only difference between here and your IRL experiences is that (a) in face-to-face conversation, people avoid looking like an idiot, and (b) the internet exposes you to a vast quantity of people very quickly, so the sample size is drasticaly increased and therefore so is your propensity to run into idiots.

Dont worry, be happy, and ignore everyone.

It's true. I catch shit for the most infinitessimal of deviations from the burnout stereotype that guides conduct on this forum.

Jk I know what you mean. It gets frustrating sometimes. I posted something about low doses of dmt being a good intro psychedelic and my responses were like "are you retarded?? Have you ever smoked breakthrough doses??"

Just cause we take drugs doesn't mean we're not people too. We've still got all the irrationality and hate that comes with humanity.

Men are born for games. Nothing else. Every child knows that play is nobler than work. He knows too that the worth or merit of a game is not inherent in the game itself but rather in the value of that which is put at hazard. Games of chance require a wager to have meaning at all. Games of sport involve the skill and strength of the opponents and the humiliation of defeat and the pride of victory are in themselves sufficient stake because they inhere in the worth of the principals and define them. But trial of chance or trial of worth all games aspire to the condition of war for here that which is wagered swallows up game, player, all. - The Judge

There are some really cool people on this forum but TBH that community is gradually migrating to my Facebook and the antagonistic teen-jerkwad rabble seems to be drowning out most of the qualities that initially drew me to this forum.

I might just say that because I'm getting older myself, and it seems different when it hasn't changed at all, but...

I just don't know about that.

I think everyone should be sure of themselves but a certain level of tact is necessary, especially for things of a subjective nature.

People here are sure of themselves, which is good, but everyones personal beliefs are more right than the dude next to him

Prisoner tears everyone apart. I dunno if he's just a dick or if he's trying to get people to put thought and research into defending their position or if thats just how he is but regardless of whether or not you agree with him he is good at finding and defending opposing viewpoints...and I find knowing the opposing viewpoints makes your own views a bit more meaningful and informed rather then just 'I believe in this and refuse to think otherwise'

Is being "openminded" some kind of prerequisite to posting on this forum? I don't understand what you are bitching about. People are opinionated if you don't like it gtfo.
