Side pins - Anything that can be done?

So I came home today and found pins have started popping up from my substrate! However theres only like 2 that have popped up from the top and like 20 from the sides. The substrate started coming in from the sides so it made a nice humid climate right there. I don't mind side pins, but I'd rather have the substrate be spent on bigger fruits that grow up. I have a wax paper above the top so I know it's humid, but the side seems to keep better. Is there anything that can be done?

Just let it go. 2nd flush will come in on top more than likely. Good luck!

If your liner was cut correctly this wouldn't be happening. No stressing it though. Next time you'll do the liner right. It's a learning experience.
Nothing you can do at this point to prevent side pinning other than keep humidity high in your tub.
