 Amanita muscaria chem extract

Hey dudes I need some help/advice, im 3 parts through the extraction of a.muscaria resin,ideally I want to end up with a near pure miscumol.the sundried caps were placed in a pot and simmered keeping under 70•C for 16hrs thn filtered through coffee filters thn placed back on simmer til I was left with a thick black tar like substance almost like hashish,,i now needa way to extract the miscumol from the gunk.iv thought of acetone but need some advice on the method..

Liquid-liquid extraction.
Put water saturated with salt (but without crystalline salt in undissolved in it) and hexane in a funnel. Mix all the ''hashish'' in it. Separate the water phase and the hexane phase. Filter hexane and let dry hexane. Take the water phase and put more hexane in it, add only base (NaOH). Shake and extract hexane. Reuse your basic water and make it acid by adding the HCl and more hexane. Extract hexane.
Combine all hexane phases and let dry. This should be your shit.

Use pH paper to test the acidity of your water phase.
Don't confuse the two different phases. Hexane is lighter than water, then SHOULD be on top of it.
If you wanna be optimal, do each extraction three times.

Shit, your pH must be pretty precise since muscimol is bitch that can give or take a proton. You cannot go all the way pH=14 to pH=1 to get what you want in the hexane....

good point man..ive heard miscumols quite tricky to deal wth but wth a bit of noodling round hopefully i can clean it nuf for a decent result.I've brought extract online nd it was terrible compared to a.musaria itself so fingers crossd thnks again man

I have an idea. When pouring your base or acid, add a little, shake your shit and take a tiny bit of the hexane. Let it evaporate and check if there is your stuff in the hexane.
Add more, retry.
Or, if you are not mentally lazy, try and find the pKa of both proton doner/acceptor groups in the molecule and find the pH where most of your muscimol is in its neutral form.

I just looked at the molecule, you can easily see that is so fucking damn polar. Just put your gunk in hexane, stir until dissolution (heat a bit if necessary, but don't forget to check hexane vaporization point, autoignition point and make sure you have ventilation).
Then, just pour in distilled water (bottled water with less than 10 ppm of minerals). Shake all that up and extract water. That is the shitty part....make that water evaporate  it's gonna take a fucking while. You could try getting the water to 50°C or something but since muscimol is polar as fuck, you will loose % of it in the steam.
