If something is pondering existence then there must be existence. You do not exist. ------------------------------------------------------ There is not existence.
If something is pondering existence then there must be existence. I am pondering my existence. -------------------------------------------------------------- There must be existence.

not sure exactly what you mean but before I create a self there is no self but there is something going on
descartes says I think therefore I am, I would reduce it to "Something seems to be going on"
Yeah its self evident but there is no self.

Nah, it's not a self, just the formless form of awareness, space for stuff to exist.

Yeah its self evident but there is no self.
I did not create myself. I am a product of my environment and circumstances. The decisions I make and the actions I take are the only part of my selfhood that I have control over.

the concept of self is one thing, the feeling of self is another but experience is just experience without a self

As soon as we start to try to answer that question it seems we have room for error.
My experience is that it just appears

I have spent a half hour trying to understand this statement but I still don't get it. It doesn't quite make sense to me. I think it's a left brain thinker kind of thing.

Logical evidence? Is that anything like philosophic evidence?

i think referencing the I to humanity more or less collective I. I must "eat". etc and i agree with you on the stages of self awareness must recognize there is a self to recognize there is an existence must feel the self to feel life
but doesnt your self lead you to all experience?
i know mine does
or at least the self i recognize and the self that came to be and is forever changing and the self that cannot, not exist it says all my experience is thanks to it

That which exist outside the I, I is imaginary. Ever looked into the Cartesian Theater?

That makes it pretty evident imo. The statement has not to do with what you think you are, or what you think of "yourself"(oxymoron implying something separate(Who's self? What's self?)) only existence . . .

Yeah things exist it seems. Seems pretty "self evident". My dogs are even aware of existence, at least their actions would indicate that.
Of course there's no way to know for sure. We are not the creators. Maybe this is non-existance. Wouldn't that be a hoot.
