Why do you think you are special enough to warrant people using their own lives to harness resources at no compensation to themselves in order to let you possibly live a little longer?

I don't think myself higher than any other person. I would hate my life to be extended if someone else had to die. What are you referring to?

What about a national flat tax on all incomes and all income groups in order to pay for a single payer system? Then everyone is paying and everyone is getting medical care.

What about all of the poorly paid Chinese who live and work in miserable conditions that make things you consume? How do you justify letting African children starve and die of easily prevented diseases like malaria when you could take your money, go to Africa, and help these children personally?

I would feel entitled to medical treatment because we have programs for people like this, Medicaid, Medicare, Free Clinics. I pay taxes so technically I would still not be getting it "free".
