The ones labelled as "subbs" do look promising. A spore print will be the surest way to tell. Where were they growing from?
And by the way, Paneolus cinctulus is the current name for Paneolus subbalteatus.

That is much better, but as long as you leave the species epithet capitalized, you could be criticized.

I would say most are, with the advice of print them all. Many times they grow very close to each other and in the same habitat. Regardless, you're going to need a lot more for significant effect. Monitor their growth and try to let them get a bit larger - some seem not to get very tall or large, keep that in mind. Avoid letting them age to the point of being infested with larva, pick big, pick fresh.
A few tips that i've learned: -Foe's tend to grow very densely, where as Cincts will grow in smaller groups but much more spaced out with 2-3 in a fruit cluster being common, single fruits being more so common -Foe's have a rather darker appearance and usually clear lack of a zonate ring (ring near the end of the cap) -Cincts are almost "sandy" colored with clear mottled appearance in their cap coloring. Think faded sandpaper - drying to a whitish creame or yellow/creame color -Foe's are much more delicate and fall apart more readily than cinct's... given same age and condition

so foes grow densely,eh?I swear i read that they are loners in another site. Also my problem is that most of the caps wont print. Some will make some excellent prints and others at same age will not print at all!!

it takes about 20-30 fresh specimens depending on size to begin to feel the effects, don't be too disappointed if you are not feeling much from what you ate
