I want you to go hit on a barista or starbucks, or just any random guy. Do it with the intention of getting turned down, just so you see how not a big deal it is.
The problem is you're making this into some life of death, losing the love of your life bullshit. He's just some guy you hardly know. And at that one that is at least mildly interested. He's giving you every opportunity to make a move or be open to him making one. Just say ya, you don't go to clubs but want to check them out, or sure you like xbox, or shit no you don't do anything on the weekend but are looking for something to do.
Chill chill chill, forget the damn debit machine and just talk to the dude for a second.

You're right it doesn't matter. I can just buy cigs somewhere else. I don't know why my anxiety goes through the roof but it's like an allergic reaction and I can't help it but I was trying. I think I just need to get in there and start talking before he starts talking or otherwise it's like a 20 questions thing and then it's over. I'm just going to go up to the corner and spit it out. I wanted to be "smooth" about it but fuck it I'm just gonna do it ripping off a bandaid style. Thursday morning it is.

Thursday when I go to get cigs again I'm just going to be a little aggressive and make sure I get to lead the conversation. Not in like a crazy bitch way haha just try to get in first. It's always 20 questions time and I end up nervously trying to answer all his questions. I'm hoping he'll just start with how are you and then I can say pretty good and ask him about his accent and where he is from and take it from there. I'm hoping that maybe if I can convey interest well enough he might ask me. Usually it's like he asks me when I get off work and I tell him and then there is silence. So maybe he's just terrified of rejection like I am but who knows. Or maybe he's just fucking with me lol. Oh well gonna try.

do meetup .com and talk to everyone. make plans to do fun things and then invite people along the way to do them with you. and do them even if you're by yourself. that way you'll have a life, meet new people all the time, and never have to stress about the "date" thing, you'll just hopefully have companionship for things you like doing.
