 'Magic mushroom' haul seized' - Western Australia

Police have seized more than 5 kilograms of what they believe to be "magic mushrooms" from a vehicle near Donnybrook.
Donnybrook Police have warned anybody thinking of heading into the area to collect the illegal drug to think again.
On Saturday, officers seized 5.42 kilograms of what is believed to be the prohibited mushrooms when they stopped and searched a vehicle, containing four men from the metropolitan area.
Someone got greedy.

Greed is bad m'kay. But then again, if I knew a place where I could gather more than 10 pounds of shrooms I'd probably do the same. Even though they would last me a lifetime even if I gave half of them away.

I hate these nanny state laws, We should be free to consume them in a safe environment but not sell them, I vote for legalise and regulation where's our real democracy bunch of control freak cunts we live in a police state and i what that to change >_>

Mushroom stash men charged

TWO British backpackers have been charged with possessing a prohibited drug after being caught camping in a mushroom hotspot in Balingup.
Snr Const. Becky Breedveld, of Donnybrook police, said the backpackers, 23-year-old Ben de Melker of North Beach and 29-year-old Ian Steytler of Mindarie, were found in possession of the drugs on Saturday June 19 at 5.10pm. Police patrolling the area saw smoke from a campfire and found a tent pitched at the site.
Both men had shopping bags, one containing 238 grams and the other 380 grams of mushrooms.
Snr Const. Breedveld said one man tried tipping his bag out, ending up with a pile of mushrooms by his feet when police arrived.
The men were interviewed at the Donnybrook police station and charged in court last week with possessing the prohibited drug psilocin. One offender received a $500 fine and the other a $750 fine.
Police are patrolling Balingup regularly now the mushroom season is in full swing.
Lesson learned...get in, do it, don't fuck around for too long and don't let anyone see you...Go solo and to isolated fields/be cautious...or take a buddy with you just to scout out for the cops.
Fucking W.A. brethren, be careful of Donnybrook. They're cunts down there lol.

That's amazing <3
Here in many of the states, that many mushrooms whether fresh or dried could easily mean 5 years behind bars.

Theyre lucky they were just done for possession.
Anything else would have been similarly hefty.
