I was talking to a former roommate the other month who LOVES brostep.  Skrillex, Flux Pavillion, Doctor P, etc.

I asked him what he thought of that goth-trad ep that Deep Medi released last year, he'd never heard of goth-trad.  So I just asked him how he felt about Deep Medi.  Never heard of it.  I asked him if he'd ever heard of Mala, Coki, or the DMZ label.  Blank stare.

you only think that because you don't know what real dubstep is cause in the states its all wa wa wa brostep bullshit. true dubstep is a refined sound with a specific philosophy...not a fad...and it originates and flourishes out of the U.K. The artists I posted are some of the ones that do it right.

You should just listen to some of these tracks. I guarantee you simply don't know what real dubstep is. :shrug:

Thanks for all the tracks. Since I'm enjoying the feel good buzz from this mephedrone, the music appreciation is through the roof. I could be doing with some heavy basslines so I sure hope this is right up my alley.

i don't know shit about "your" dubstep. you're right about that. i enjoy brostep. but you are right in the essence that it is a fad here in the states. if you were in the music scene HERE in the states and not in the UK where you're not even from you'd notice a shift from dubstep to trap music as of the past few months. brostep is a fad for some, others just enjoy it. your opinion isn't everyone else's
