the only thing about death that I can really comment on right now is that there is definitely a sense of proximity to spiritual realms.
that in itself, is pretty important. I think. And that, someone dying has much more impact on you than it does on them.
So, don't guide them. Their path is basically set. Guide yourself.

I shit you not, you should play Final Fantasy 7. The concept of the lifestream really resonates with a lot of physical/metaphysical concepts that I have encountered through research on this subject
