Hell yeah! I had a similar experience. I had a cake that was close to 100% and then got a spot of green. So I tossed it outside. It didn't fruit as well as it would have if it had been in my FC, but I still got a few nice sized shrooms from it. I didn't crumble mine though. Just tossed it. I think next time, I'm going to crumble and mix with some coir and some horse manure.

Cool, glad to see u are okay nimpo. I'm doing my first successful grow. Got four BRF jars that are like 75 percent and seem to be not growing. I think I'll cut the uncolonized section off crumble and bury.
