Next time instead of fighting it, just let go, do nothing, just observe and the fear will pass even though it is at hell world proportions. You just experienced ego death where the questions were asked of you, what am I, Who am I, What is the reason I exist? Ask that last question and start improving the things you can change, while letting go of those things you cannot change. Be at peace young traveler, you are not alone.
-------------------- "Love one another." "To Love is to know me." "Love is the Law, Love under Will." "In Compassion, all sorrows end." Regardless of the Master, the message is the same- Choose love and you shall live, Choose Fear and you shall die. Help bring peace to this Earth: Love one another, and serve others before yourself.

You've convinced yourself that you are going crazy. Nothing about LSD will make you go crazy even if you do have some mental eccentricities.
The mind is a powerful thing. I think you have put yourself into a hysteria. You just need to chill out and take a break from psychedelics. So what if you know what happens if you die? What does that change about your daily life? You just gotta keep truckin'.

searching said: The effects of the drug have worn off and now you are just remembering it. You will get back to normal trust me. What you experienced was no different than what we have all gone through except that you went into it not knowing what to expect and panicked. You were depressed and still are. The LSD thrown in just has you all mixed up. You need to treat the depression like any normal person treats depression. After you get through that you WILL be fine.
To battle this depression you need to take the initiative and DO something about it. You can't just wait for it to go away. 1. Whatever hobby or passion you have, start doing it even if you don't feel like it. 2. Exercise even if you don't feel like it. You need those natural chemicals released to bring you out of this. 3. Hang out with friends and socialize. Again, even if you don't feel like it.
Very good advice. Follow it and you will feel better.

Lsd is not known to cause brain damage. He did say he had underlying mental health issues which Lsd can easily exacerbate. From his post he seems intelligent coherent and lucid. He hasn't gone insane although I wouldn't doubt he was a bit freaked out. Exercise...counseling...support groups and maybe some Psyche mess are all great ideas for his recovery. Glad everyone banded together to give this person hope. I pray he is well. No no no...I pray he is doing better than well!!

EVERYTHING happens for a reason. Im sure most of us here has been somewhat in your situation before. Just get some sleep, go back to your old ways as best as you can. And talk about this with somebody face to face. And like one guy on here said. Try your hardest to make a laugh about it. Im almost sure you will better in no time.

I'm guessing you live in the UK.
Go back to your doctor and ask him/her to refer you to a clinical psychologist. You may be put on a waiting list for this. Still, give it a go.
