I've been noticing there's a limit now for 400px width on the boards, yet there are people who have 8mb GIF images that are below the 400width. I just wanted to bring it to light, since it limits people who have tiny image sizes but want to have something like 500pxl in width (this day and age, does anyone use a resolution below 1280x?).
Not that I want their images gone, but it doesn't really make sense since it's still a 5-10mb filesize image, and if you've got a capped bandwidth, this is more bothersome than too wide of an image (my iphone tethering plan only allows 5gb a month).
I suggest a limit to 1-2mb per signature, and maybe allowing a little wider pixel dimensions on sigs.
