Sure it's not a Nasturtium sp.?? Looks very similar.

What species is that Stapelia. It's grotesque! I love it!
I agree with Got about your Mammillaria.

I am with you on this one. I defiantly am not an expert but I haven't seen a heliconia that looks like that. I love Heliconia's but Nasturtium's not so much
Cheers Got

Here's mine from last year:
 These are flying saucers:

This is the Leonotis Nepetifolia that recently started flowering. It's about 6 feet tall, and only in 3 gallons of homemade organic soil!

Here's a weird zinnia that you guys might like:

wow, so the flying saucers are just like the heavenly blues but the blue and white are dispersed differently.
I need to mix it up and try those out next year.
On the heavenly blues that white is present on the back of the flower in perfect stripes, i could sit and admire the flower for a while
the way it spirals as it opens up, i need to make a time lapse

Yes, the flying saucers add a little more variety! And they should be potent for ingesting as well. I especially enjoy the ones like the second flying saucer I posted, where the flower is almost all white except for a light blue star in the middle. I've actually seen a cultivar of morning glories that I think was called "Blue Star," and was supposed to express that trait, but about 25% of my flying saucer flowers come out that way, so I see it all the time. It's cool especially becuase every flower on a flying saucer plant looks different.

Cropping them would help if you're into that thing, otherwise they're fine. Thanks for posting them up. I'll nominate the top One for pic of the month.

Stemmacantha carthamoides
Looks like a thistle but its velvety, smells like high quality perfume, and when used as medicine it makes a person stronger. Theres got to be some BDSM symbolism in there somewhere.
