When you are having fun, does it matter what the nature of reality is?
Before we can go out and play catch do we have to know WHY?

Good point. One usually asks why when there is confusion or pain. And sooner or latter it seems most get to that place.

The problem is the person up at bat, bases loaded, must (must!) forget everything else.
Keep your eye on the ball.
Underneath it all you know this game isn't everything. Accept that and it all gets a lot more complicating.
Take your eye from the ball to the big picture and, must not you delve into philosophy?

My neighbor asked me to play catch with her family the other day. My mind seemed to jump straight to it being a positive notion and I complied and brought fun and smiles. I don't think we have a tendency to analyze positives but I can only speak for myself. Such as what if your friend asked if you wanted to go frolic in the forest out of the blue on a mutual free day.
What about negatives, do we look for meaning in those situations?
