Heineken has to be one of the most over rated/priced beers, tastes skunky cuz of those damn green bottles.

You serious? That's a laughably small amount of alcohol to drink.

Not really, well maybe it's because I've got native in me and I can't handle the firewater. But yeah I guess that's a bit low. Now that I think about it, when I drink 22oz tall pours at the bar, I usually drink 3 of them within 1.5-2 hours. So that's a lot of beer... Hey a half gallon of beer is a lot of beer... 64oz, since the cup is 22oz I'm guessing the pour is usually short an oz or two. I usually get the Lagunitas Maximus on tap though, and that's 8%.

No, sorry. Coors does not use any rice in their beer. Budweiser chooses to use rice as an adjunct in their beer because it produces a crisp beer that results in a debatably smaller range of flavors in the final product. Rice is cheaper to buy, ferments with clearer sugars for lighter color, and ferments nearly to completion (all sugar turns into alcohol). The rice helps keep the beer tasting the exact same every time you have a bud, and it cuts down on cost.
You are right about miller using synthetic hops though.. it's called tetra hops or something like that.

I love all the people in here who are like "THIS BEER R WAY BETTARZ TASTING" well no shit you're paying way more for it.
I love budweiser and it's a no brainer that if I want to pound a bunch of beer with some friends I'm going to get a case of bud over the other garbage in the case. It's a good beer and I'm not sure why people are hating on it so much. Of course there's better tasting beers out there.
If I want some beer that I really enjoy the taste of I pick up some moose drool or a redhook of some sort. If I wanna pound some beers with homies all night though budweiser is my #1 pick because it's a smooth tasty beer that doesn't make me feel like shit the next day.

Because I think it tastes like shit for the price. I don't even see much of a point in buying beer at that level (stuff like Bud, Coors, etc.) because I don't think it's any better than PBR, Black Label, or High Life.

Funnily enough, I've been slugging down on Budweisers all god damn day. It sure does taste delicious but I suggest you broaden your horizons if you think it's the king of all beers. C'mon man... live a little!

Well to be fair I said "nearly to completion" and I am checking around to see if the source I got that from was accurate and it actually seems like it wasn't..
http://www.homebrewtalk.com/wiki/index.php/Fermentable_adjuncts
says 70% yield from flaked rice..
so ignore what I said, except for the part about coors and bud being the same. because they are absolutely not the same.
edit: i'm drifting even further.. the 70% yield refers to how much fermentable sugars you can extract from your starting material. For instance brown sugar is 100% yield which means that all of the sugar is available for fermentation.

Aah, see I've only been to the budweiser factory, I didn't really care to see the rest. For extremely mass produced beer they're quite expensive though
