I mean like not against your will, you could get high or drunk but you have been sober. If so how long have you been sober? Anyone been sober over a month?
I would love to hear some stories

I have a couple drinks every other night or so. Other than that, I'm sober all the time.

I take breaks every now and then for 3 months at a time, it's nice but overall it's better living through chemistry IMO 
If you're trying it out though props to ya. It's humbling to just let it all go for awhile.

I personally couldn't handle it. I'm just a depressed person and drugs help keep away depression if i get high at least 1 time a week. Usally more. But serously though, if anyone has been sober over a month serious props too you.

Full sober? No. But i quit 5 years of opiates and cocaine 10.5 months ago and I still stick to psychedelics.

When I was on house arrest I was sober for 3 months . Now im on probation and drug court , so im drinking like a motherfucker . Today I only have 5 beers im on my 3rd one .

Im not gonna waste money on more beer , I think im good for today . My boy bought a 18 pack yesterday and I got to take home 10 beers last night and these are the 5 beers I didn't kill last night so Im happy . Free beer !

That proves that the law doesn't give a fuck about drug users as long as they get paid. If they really cared about us they wouldn't let us drink or they would let us legally do any drug.

I haven't drank or smoked weed very much since about a year and a half ago. I have no desire to get hammered any more but I have been wishing I had some weed around lately. I was never an especially frequent drinker though.

i usually only drink or take drugs on the weekends, and remain sober throughout the week. for a long time recently i've actually been relatively sober on my weekends too, only drinking like 2-3 beers a night when i go out. which is enough to still drive home sober at the end of the night. so by my standards i've actually been fairly sober for an extended period of time now. but thats all going to chance once i'm on holidays and get all this work out of the way. then i declare jihad on my braincells

Sobriety sucks, I wish everyone here was in an altered state of conciosness. It beats the people I meet on a day to day basis in society.

Amen. Been drinking a good amount this summer, not going to lie.
Shitty attempt at a substitute for green since I am on proby.
Not that I drink to get hammered all the time.
But a nice craft beer 4-5 times a week is nice. If they're decent and strong (6-10% ABV), even one gets me a nice little buzz.

Sobriety definitely doesn't suck. You might want to reevaluate your drug and alcohol use if you can't enjoy life without being intoxicated.

i don't know exactly what you consider "sober." im sober 99% of the time. i trip about once a month, smoke weed very infrequently, and dabble in a few other drugs when the chances arise (which it normally doesn't). so im really only high a few days out of the month. did a little DMT today though. was

I've been mostly sober for the past 2 years, and sober off drugs for another year or so before that.
I might drink or toke 1 or 2x a year, but even that is lessening these days. I have no desire for recreational consumption of drugs these days. I don't even drink wine or beer...
I went so overboard with drugs in my younger days, it's become an all or none scenerio. I just feel better "saying no."
However, i will take psychedelics again, and am actually considering it sometime this summer.
