What appeared to be 5 pan subbs today. I live in middle Georgia and found them in a well fertailized yard. Is there anything else they could have been besides the pan foes? They were old and dried when I found them. If anyone here is from Georgia you know that the pan subbs here generally get black gills. I've id'ed subbs before but did not eat them. There wasn't much of a stem to help id them with. the caps were conical and convex, light tan getting darker towards what I call the nipple.

Those sound like Conocybe albipes and are toxic.Go puke em up!....NOW!!!!

Attempt to locate 1 more, bring it to the physician, or post a photo, but i can not describe how much medical attention might be required.

He said he only used the stem for id and it was all shriveled up just like the ones if seen today.And it can hard to see the gills on a dried up Conocybe.

more of a nipple than coniclel, and all the gills were deff. black. im homeless right now. i havent had any stomach pangs. i think they were some pan foes, i hope atleast. im a traveler, so im in savannah now. hitched a ride tonight, my woman and i. if i die ill die happy damnit.

If the gills were black then you will most likely be fine.
Sorry If I scared you but it really sounded like they were Conocybes.

Your posts are fucking confusing. Give us a proper description NOW! Neither Cinctulus or Albipes have a nipple/papilla, you are mis-using the term.
If they were Conocybe albipes, you'd probably have felt the suffering by now because I think albipes don't have amatoxins, rather the "lesser" muscarine.
If you are 100% positive the gills were black, you are safe.

it could be so much, also a mycena or whatever, do you feel any symptoms of a toxication?
never eat mushrooms you don´t know or cant ID, hope you are good.

Did you trip?
If not go to a doctor. Mushroom poisoning can hit you a week after you eat them.

I don't believe this is a true statement. Sick in 12 hours = you will be ok. Sick 48 hours later = go to hospital.
If the gills were black, I'd say you're going to be ok.
Side note: It's not necessary to call people stupid or try to scare them. Everyone comes out of the woodwork when it's time to school someone AFTER they ate something. Stop it.

Musarine poisoning is quick acting, you'll feel that alot sooner than amatoxin poisoning, which can take up to a day for symptoms to appear. Times vary for everyone anyways.
Orelliane (sp) poisoning (Cortinarius) can take crazy long, from a week to 4 weeks!!
It dosen't matter what you ate, if you suffer from any mushroom poisoning, go to the hospital!! Even if you may thinl it's minor gastro intestinal problems!
