 Level 4 Trip Goes Wrong (Report)

Hey everyone just want to start of saying that im new here to the forum, and im looking foward to being apart of it!. So last night was the second time ive consumed Shrooms. First time i had 1.7g, and was VERY AMAZING. This time I decided to try 3.5g. Evrything was prepared and set to go. My two best friends and this other guy ive never met were babysitting me. Around 1 in the morning they started to kick in. We put on some Pink Floyd And some Zeppelin and kicked back. Thats when everything went wrong. The one guy who i never met thought it would be very funny if he started to mess with me. He started messing with my playlist and talking really loud right next me. I told him to stop because I knew things were going to go wrong really quick. We went outside and walked around so I could just chill back out. When i turn around to go back in the uy i never met before let out all my pets into the neighborhood and i was running around trying to get them back in and i started getting very negative thoughts and visuals. After 30 Minutes of looking we got back in the house and right when i sit down this guy gets within 2 inches of my face and started making weird faces at me while laughing like a Hyena. To me his face instantly turned into the shape of a Demon and I punched the living Sh*t out of him multiple times. When he was on the ground i started hallucinating Terrible Terrible things. I started crying and couldnt stop and was talking to myself wishing this was over. And this was only 2 hours into my trip. My two best friends kicked him out and made him walk home after that. I had Body Tremors beyond belief. My legs and arms were shaking uncontrollably. And i sweating extremely bad. For the next 4 Hours I sat in a corner whispering to myself the lords Prayer and was praying to God to end this. I had the WORST Ego Death you could ever imagine During my peak hour and starting crying again uncontrollably because I thought i was seriously in a living hell. I would close my eyes and the visuals were mindbending and everything felt like it was closing in on me. My two other friends huddled next to me and calmed me down and slept right next to me the rest of the night. Very scary Experience Guys.

Damn that sucks man. Sounds like the douche got what he deserved.
Thats why I never trip with people I don't know. Some people are just
dicks. At least you had some good buddies with you that could make
sure you didn't get too messed up. Hopefully your next trip will be
better.

That sounds awful. What a stupid ass hole. Fuck that guy. That seriously pisses me off..I know what it's like to have people try and "trip you out", or even treat you differently and not know how to relate when you're tripping. This is on a whole other obnoxious level. Your mind was in a vulnerable state and you were toyed with and that's wrong. I hope this doesn't scare you away from the true wonders of psychedelics. Next time, don't trip with anyone you don't know. Choose your environment more carefully, and likewise make certain that your mindset is positive and strong. Work your way back up to 3.5, and ease into it with care.

Anyway, I've had a couple AWFUL level 4 trips on LSD, close enough... bad trips on high doses of psychedelics are nightmares so horrendous they cannot be put into words....are you feeling fine now?

Yikes.. sorry you had a bad time. I think most of us have been there though.
Even without some asshole like that guy, peaks can be terrifying until you're accustomed to them.. and even when you are they are still difficult sometimes. Maybe not for everybody.. I don't know really.
From my experiences there is a peak every once in a while, and more so at the beginning of my experiences.. a peak that just hits you so hard that it is momentarily devastating. Devastating in the sense that you are no longer that "self" which you have gotten used to being for most of your life.
But listen.. keep digging and you will find something to hold onto in your future experiences. There's no guarantee that you won't have frightening trips no matter how experienced you are, but the more you have under your belt, the easier it is to let go of negative vibes during a trip and you'll see how amazingly quick the power of self suggestion and intention are.
For example, my second trip was the night before high school graduation, and I couldn't sleep because there were ghosts of dead people swirling around a fountain of blood and guts in my room. This went on for an hour and I couldn't make it stop. When I realized that just wanting it to stop because I was terrified wasn't working, I changed gears. Instead, I simply stopped being afraid and intended to replace that imagery with something more pleasant. Instantly the horrible vortex of death and despair vanished and in it's place appeared a magnificent fountain of bright reflective crystals and colors that I had never seen before.
THAT's the power of intention. So next time.. when you're feeling like death is upon you, pull up a nice warm feeling from deep inside and see what you WANT to see, feel what you want to feel, and be what you want to be... and don't trip around people like that asshole guy anymore!

Well said. I completely agree. I think it's actually very empowering having had bad trips, because it makes the typical reality seem not so harsh when rough times come around. It makes it easier to avert your mind, direct your thinking, and generally be more conscious of your own awareness from moment to moment. The power of thought and the strength within yourself to control your mind and the way you create your reality. Though reality can't be easily changed sometimes, you can always change your mind.

that's a shame and i'm sorry to hear it but there are warnings that everyone tries to be vocal about, specifically set and setting... it's not a good idea to dose on anything larger than you're used to especially if you're in the presence of people whom you are not acquainted with. i'm sure you've learned something from it, and i hope in the future you allow yourself a positive experience in a pleasant environment

Thanks everyone for all the responses and support. Im a lot better now. I consider myslef a very strong minded person and ive already been able to put most of it behind me. I even told him personally earlier that day to be cool, and my best friends did the same as well. Some people just dont understand. Nobody really does until you experience it first hand.

So sorry to hear that.. I had an acid trip that went wrong in a similar way when our peaceful tripping space was invaded by a load of pissed up twats a housemate brought home.. Send me on a weird one. Which is not normally a problem, but I couldn't find any handle on which to get myself back on track. Then, whilst still feeling weird (not bad, but weird), everyone went to bed, other acid trippers included. That left me on my own in a living room, tripping balls on acid, teetering on a bad trip.
I ended up staring at a sofa for 4 solid hours, telling myself over and over again "If it looks like a sofa and I know it's a sofa, then I'm NOT insane" again, and again, and again. Every single time I closed my eyes I'd hurtle through the tunnels of my mind to places I did not want to be, so it was back to talking to the sofa.
Nightmare evening, but nothing compared to what you had to go through. Don't be put off tripping, though. I hope that one fuckwit hasn't put you off for life. Next time, make sure you're in the company of people full of peace, love and light. People who are willing to care for you if things turn a bit sour. Then you'll have the trip you deserve.

Second... Don't mean to be harsh, but you are responsible for your own set and setting.
Don't mean to excuse the asshole... But you should not have been tripping with a stranger. I really advise people to know and trust people who are around them. If you don't, trip alone.
The higher the dose... The more important Set and Setting become.

Honestly I look back now on the other night and believe it or not I've taken it all in as a good thing. Even though at the time I was frightened. But now I've realized the trip did me well and learned a lot. Just how every trip should do .

Tho I agree, he said it was his second time. No way he has enough experience to control his trip like that. Not if this was his first difficult trip. It's to debilitating when youre going through it in the moment. Something has to click in your head that leads you to that understanding.

Next time take an eigth and be the master of your own destiny brotha! Don't be scared just put on the wall close your eyes and be free. Don't let this Dick deter you from having fun. And the lords prayer helped you...next time ask God beforehand to have a good trip...you will...you can do it!!!

That is a great mindset man.
I personally think it is great that you had a difficult trip early on in your experiences. If you wouldn't have gone through such a rough time you wouldn't know what you are mentally made of.
A lot of people are under the illusion that psychedelics are all love and hippie dippy shit (not that there is anything wrong with that) and then they have a bad trip and get put off by them forever.
Glad your ok and that you punched him in the face.

Nothing weird about that mate. I've had hundreds of good trips to look back on, but they don't really stand out. I've had a handful of bad trips, and for some reason I look back on then with the most affection. I'm not sure why, something to do with conquering the darkness, I guess. Plus, the bad trip reports generally make for a far more exciting story than the good ones..

Sounds like two people learned valuable lessons and both are still alive and in relative good health. Chalk it up to living life.
I would plan a "stronger than I've ever taken" dose during the daylight hours, ....much easier to field the "high bounces" that higher doses often include with your eyes open. Darkness has it's own set of rules.
