 Can Placing a SGFC Against a Wall Cause Lack of FAE?

I have been growing cubes in a SGFC. My flushes have been successful, and I am pleased with the results. However, I have noticed that some of my mushrooms (not all of them) show signs of lack of FAE (twisted stems, fuzz on stems, mushrooms growing on the caps of other mushrooms, etc). Perhaps my flushes could be even better, though they are already pretty good in my opinion.
While most of my mushrooms look healthy and my flushes are good, I am concerned that there isn't enough FAE in my SGFC. I have many holes drilled on all 6 sides, so I am surprised that I am even questioning FAE. Could it be the fact that one side is against a wall? Could that be preventing air from escaping?
What do you guys think?

I would leave about 6" minimum space from the wall.

Youre right in thinking that being up against a wall can cause lack of FAE. the walls of the tub trap air against the wall they sit on so it doesnt move around much. But this isnt a huge deal. Vou can just setup a small fan to blow the sides of the tub and along the wall to freshen the air up. Just run it for a few minutes after you mist them.

I've done grows with SGFCs inside my closet with two sides against a cabinet/wall, and they did great...
why? I misted/fanned more often, and had a small fan blowing air around in the top of my closet.
SGFCs are cool because you can make the rules- just make sure whatever you do, you learn how they react, and you learn how to react to their reaction.
try shit and see what works IMO/E

Thanks for the advice people.
The reason my SGFC is against the wall is because I am growing in my closet. I have 2 full sized SGFCs in my closet and not alot of space. There's not much I can do now, but the next time my SGFC is empty, I will turn both SGFCs diagonally so they are less blocked by the wall. For the meantime, I think my cakes that are in there now will do okay.
Still, I know moving my SGFCs away from the wall will produce better results in the future, so I must make this move eventually. Still, no use potentially harming the cakes already in there!

Yes, but I live in a one bedroom apartment. And I am NOT putting my fruiting chamber in open sight for anyone to see. On the bright side, my closet is a larger closet, and since I mist and fan multiple times a day, I know the door gets opened to circulate some air. So while I would love to be growing in a bedroom or a room with a window, that simply is not possible for me at this time. I can assure you however, that growing in a closet has not stopped me in the past (and I do not believe it will stop me in the future) from achieving successful grows. Though, I do plan to rearrange my two fruiting chambers in the near future so that they aren't up against the wall.

RR makes a great point, but he needs to understand that everybody doesn't live in the woods in Washington state... where I live, it gets near freezing maybe once a year... and the humidity is much different, etc.
Try and see what works for you- I can honestly say from personal experience that "stealth" grows can work very well- just remember RRs point about fresh air- that part is more important, cause stale air (even with a fan) isn't any good. That's why he probably says don't put anything in a closet... just don't forget to air it out a couple times a day- growing in your closet just means extra work, that's all.
