Is smoked DMT psychologically safer than ayahuasca?

I have had around 50 strong psychedelic experiences and I am still scared of having a trip that will cause disruptive and negative changes in my personality or character. I know a lot of people are cocky and will tell me that if I don't have a "strong mind" like them than I shouldn't be tripping. Well, being arrogant doesn't fortify the integrity of your character, sorry guys. I have never felt anything during a trip that was so alien as to cause trauma to my psyche or feel as if I have been violated. It is always pretty clearly my own mind exploring itself. Nevertheless, I read reports of many people who have had hundreds of psychedelic experiences that all of the sudden snap...they get debilitating flashbacks or anxiety or some other psychosis.
I have never heard of this happening with smoked DMT though. Or, salvia for that matter. And I am guessing the reason for this, plainly, is that there is not enough time to integrate an experience, whether positive or negative, enough to produce a lasting and significant difference in your self. But I could be very wrong having never smoked DMT. But I've scoured the net pretty well and come to think of it, I am sure I have read reports that smoked DMT has produced a positive change in a person, and definitely have read some that say it was too weird and terrifying, but never anything that has said it completely destroyed them and negatively impacted the quality of their life. I have read that of Ayahuasca, although it seems quite rare compared to mushrooms and lsd, which themselves are rare to lead to this kind of experience.
You know if anything after a trip I keep feeling a little more "scorched". Like I have just put myself through the wringer, like I have put myself through a trying and demanding hurricane and not necessarily brought anything back from it. And I have this weird almost subconscious feeling that I keep scorching myself, and that I just keep getting more burnt. Like, the structure of my mind and the quality of my thoughts are basically the same, but they emanate from a burnt place within myself. That sounds a little more painful than what I am trying to describe, but it is something like. It fades after a trip, although there could be a residue.
Maybe it is just the mild hangover that many of us get from psychedelics, I don't know. Sometimes I actually get really bad psychedelic hangovers. I am not sure why I am talking about that anyway, I think the main thing I am curious about is whether other people agree that smoked DMT seems to be superior in its beneficence on the long-term mind and why this might be. But please, no cliches about "how there are too many variables to say this and that and everyone is different, it is your mind, not the drug, blah blah blah".

short answer, yes. and the body load with ayahuasca + puking is not a feature of smoked dmt, it's my drug of choice hope you enjoy it as much as others who partake. and youre right about being cocky, nobody is the gatekeeper of these things and every mind is different, charles manson can kill without feeling remorse, think about that.
