mycelium branches turning brown? contam? Pics!
    #16366419 - 06/11/12 06:02 PM (11 months, 1 day ago)

So 9 days ago I put a fully colonized WBS jar in a shoebox with dung at a rate of 1 part spawn to 2 parts dung. The mycelium quickly colonized in about 8 days. Last night I took the foil off the shoebox and put it in a sgfc. It smells fine but it looks weird the mycelium branches are browning it seems an since this is my first time doing a tray I'm wondering if it is ok?

Any input is much appreciated!

are the brown bits not the undigested particles form the dung?  the mycelium in the pic looks white to me.
