Join a social club or fraternal group. The Freemasons are a good one, I'm a master mason. There's something going on at a lodge almost every night if you don't have anything else to do. The Order of Hibernia if you're Irish. There are a ton of Italian American clubs. If you're catholic try the K of C. Joining a social club is highly recommended by me, and can enhance your career prospects as well.

What do the masons do? Are they plotting mass extermination of humanity? For real though what do they do? Can fellow masons help me out with a career?

I don't know you but judging off this one post, you seem like a good person with a lot to offer. Killing yourself would only take away yet one more good human being out there with things to offer to this world.
Don't do it. Get out there...live, man. Live. Reestablish contact with that dude you mentioned. Take some chances on people. Find out who really cares about you, and then return the favor.
Sometimes I feel like ending it all too bro but we only get one shot at this thing called life...don't flush it down the toilet!!

I just remembered I start college in 14 days, so I may as well haul it out til then & see how that goes. A cute guy who was obv bi/gay was checking me out, but I had my headphones on & was smoking...seemed like someone I'd get along with, most of the other kids there look like the typical trend followers & whatnot. I mean I have nothing against that, but I tend to connect alot better with artists/intellects.

Masonry is a men's club. And there is some civic activity. It can definitely help you with your career and networking. Most social or fraternal clubs can so long as you have a good reputation.
