think about it i have smoked dmt about 27 times ranging from 50 to 120 mg or so out of a bong and meth pipes i have broken through everytime except the first. i always get complete visions with my eyes closed i see beings of ligth trying to show me things. with open eyes i see intense patterning and 3 layers on everything.
when i take 5 grams of mushrooms i trip stronger than on dmt having similar visions with eyes closed and having almost identical visions with eyes open. 5 grams of mushrooms has about 30 mg or psilocybin so technically its already more potent than dmt. then you have lsd and most people will say that dmt is so much stronger than lsd but if you take 50mg of lsd and 50 mg of dmt i think the lsd will becompletely mind shattering.
i have taken up to an ounce dry of mushrooms and it got to the point of intensity that my closed eye and open eye visions were the same ( i couldnt see anything from this reality i couldnt see or hear any of my friends trying to help me)
so again my question is why is dmt considered the most powerful when its weaker than alot of others? maybe its just people taking small doses of the others and not experiencing the full effects so when they have the full dmt experience they are like holy shit

It's pretty damn strong, yes things can get intense on other drugs but nothing is as easily capable as DMT.

There's a difference between strength and potency. A super potent drug might take a smaller dose to get effects but the stronger drug will give a stronger effect. Fentanyl is the strongest opioid but does not have the strength of dilaudid, for example.

well still i feel like mushrooms are alot stronger than smoked dmt for example. i also never take below 5 grams but its always stronger than smoked dmt from what ive read to get the full experience out of dmt you need to iv 400mg thats for a full on trip for 30 min where open or closed eyes makes no difference

I haven't tried DMT but from other reports your response to the drug simply seems to be a statistical outlier.
The argument of potency is moot...you wouldn't say that mescaline is less powerful than nicotine unless you were solely referring to dosage needed to achieve effects, and not the nature of effects themselves.

well i have strong fucking effects on dmt i havent fully tried ayahuasca that is a whole nother story. but again what i am saying is that i get stronger effects on 5 grams of mushrooms. if i close my eyes on that amount i get dmt visions and if i open them it is full of symbols everywhere mostly the allseeing eye and flower of life patterns on dmt i get visions with eyes closed but if i open my eyes it like a weaker mushroom trip just alot of patterning everywhere and lots of colors and layers i dont get visions on dmt with eyes open. also the auditory on mushrooms is fucking crazy

DMT is the strongest psychedelic in my experience. Other psychedelics can certainly match its magnitude but DMT is the most "to-the-point." It gets in there, does its business, gets out. For people with lives, a half-hour breakthrough is often preferable to an eight-hour breakthrough.
I have no experience with ayahuasca but I understand that is truly a different animal from other psychedelics (including pure DMT).

I guess it also depends on your perspective - whether you're a buyer or a producer.
As a buyer, DMT is easily less bang for your buck than other psychedelics. Waste of money, in fact. As a street drug, DMT is hugely overvalued and overpriced unless you're doing the MAOI/oral experience which requires very small doses.
If you're making your own though, you've really got nothing to complain about. It's obscenely powerful for how cheap and easy it is to prepare without any experience or equipment. IMO people who can't or won't make their own deserve to be price gouged.

So 10-15 a gram for rock your socks shrooms is not out of line if your say at a festival?
And by rock your socks I am saying 2-3 grams delivers that 5 gram trip, and btw I have never done dmt, but I know what our dude is saying at the 5 gram level.

DMT is notoriously expensive. At a steal, a gram goes for $100.
As a buyer, you're definitely better off with shrooms, acid, or pretty much any other psychedelic. A strong DMT trip, smoked, usually takes 50-100 mg and it's over right away. A level 5 trip costs about the same regardless to what you're taking, but if you take shrooms or acid it will last ~6x as long.
Lesson learned: make your own damned DMT, you don't have much business with it otherwise.

What's with your math man. 50-100 mg per trip means 5 or 10 bucks for a level 5. That is not how much it costs for 5 grams of mushrooms.

dmt is intense as fuck but i just dont feel like i get alot out of it because rigth before i see what they are trying to show me it ends. mushrooms teach me alot. also ayahuasca is good i have only taken half a cup and it was a good choice cuz my friend ended up going crazy on it so i had to be semi here but i intend on trying it again i could definately tell the difference.

could be that i also only use penis envies now im trying to get my hands on pan cyans i want 5 grams of those.
anyways i started by eating a dry ounce and went crazy on it. i have taken an ounce now 2 times and 5 gram doses maybe 4 or 5 but now when i take 5 grams its almost as intense as the ounce although not quite there i think the large doses made me more senseive maybe. its defintely stronger than smoked dmt for me but i can see ayahuasca being close to the same intensity

i didnt grow them myself a friend did but yeah they were penis envies he stopped growing them though now he has some other cubensis but im trying to get my hands on some pan cyans i migth try growing after i move it will be my fourth attempt hopefully nothing fucks it up this time if i do
