I started watchin this anime show, spice and wolf, and Im really liking it. Never been much for anime but this has the sense of adventure, witty dialogue, and just feel that im into. Its great. Are there any psychedelic anime shows? Or has anyone seen Spice and Wolf and know soemthing similar? Its not really psychedelic but its awesome.

Never seen Spice and Wolf, but the anime FLCL is the craziest sequence of images I've ever seen. Plus it's only 6 episodes which is nice and the music is kickass! You won't be disappointed. Also if you don't understand it don't feel bad, I'm not sure if your supposed to.

I also recommend Gurren Lagaan. It was the first full anime series I watched from beginning to end, and to this day is still one of my favorites. It's on netflix too. The first half is good, but the second half will blow your mind. I also recommend samurai champloo, cowboy bebop, Eureka seven, Mushi-shi, and Death Note. Enjoy!

i have all of the akira comics. i love that movie to bits. that and the original ghost in the shell. more of akira though.

I'm too dumb for Ghost in the Shell. I just want people to explode. AKIRA is boss though, I was surprised how different the manga and movie were.

Dead leaves is awesome! It's dirty and raunchy and glitchy in the best of ways. I like to watch it on mute with some music playing.
Paranoia Agent is pretty good. I saw Bebop mentioned already. There is Also Trigun (very good story) and I would also recommend "Serial Experiments: Lain". Lain is kinda slow going but its very good and deals with transhumanism thangs.
I just watched "Laputa:Castle In The Sky" a few weeks ago. I really enjoyed that.
I need some more anime. I am still in the amateur stages and havent really went any deeper than the funimation/adult swim stuff. I have heard good things about Spice and Wolf, guess I will check it out after seeing this thread.
