 Shiitake strain 75 - 4 bags project

Hi everybody!
I inoculated 4x sterilized supplemented Aspen sawdust bags with shiitake 75 on march 29 2012.
Recipe is:
454gr. Dry Aspen Sawdust
20 ml Gypsum
30ml Wheat bran
1000ml tap water (field capacity, on the dry side a bit)
spawn: 165, 200, 225 and 250ml of colonized rye grains.
They are now almost 100% browned, they don't seems to stop browning... May 30 2012
I'm about to put them in the fridge at 4°C for a couple of days, spank the bags, rince well and put in my greenhouse with 6500k neon.
Should I wait more before cold shocking and birthing?

It looks ready to cold shock and fruit. When you strip the bags off after the cold shock, that's when you rinse well under running water and slap them around a bit on all six sides.

Thanks, they will be cold shocked for 4 days starting thomorrow. I guess we will see how good they perform soon.
Any guess on who's going to be the winner?

I will not cold shock them today as the restaurant where I work just burned... These bags are survivors! And I'm now jobless.

Probably the lowest spawn rate, assuming you used supplemented sawdust. Too much supplement causes mutants, especially with the 75 strain.

Thanks RogerRabbit, I used 30ml of wheat bran for 1 lb of dry wood. I hope I can have a better idea of the "sweet spot" with 75 with this test.

Update:
The blocks has been cold shocked for two days, rinced, spanked on the 6 sides. They are now in the greenhouse.
Light are 6500k.

If it gets cool at night, don't be afraid to set them outdoors. Shiitake benefits from a 10 degree or better temp differential between day and night.

Update:
After two days in the greenhouse, the "225ml" block has 2 shiitake growing. Do you find the second one?
*I hope they won't only have one mushroom per block
EDIT:
It's not the 165ml rye block, it's the 225ml
