You've all been to the afterlife, and back again.
Put that in your strut next time you start dragging your feet.

an obe is NOT the "afterlife" nor does it prove it. an obe is simply your mind, your "being", your soul...being removed from your body.
now if OP had said he'd been to "heaven" or "hell" or even purgatory i'd have to reappraise my opinion.

I've been to all three.
Not sure where I'm at now though.

true that. scariest thing about psychedelics hands down for me. After salvia experiences I oftentimes have a brief moment of fear that each time I take it I am catapulting myself around different forms of my own consciousness, each time losing access to the life I had before inhalation. Usually I decide it's just because all the things I see when I come back I am seeing in a renewed light--but there is very little scarier than thinking you took a drug and now you lost everything you had...

Recently I've been detaching from the body in massive energy states - paradise, almost disintegration. No sleep required.

I would agree it's the mind free itself from the body, but I found the mind IS the body, and there is yet another body I feel, outside the body.

There's your awareness, it is pre-eminent, then there's the scheme God made to have some fun in, which is synonymous with your mind. Your mind is the scheme, and evolves itself. Anyway, if you've stepped out of the body you've stepped into what the human psyche has been calling the afterlife. Congrats. Calling it the afterlife makes it the afterlife.

I wouldn't quite call it a game - more of school. I suppose it becomes a game once you graduate the school.

I would call it active imagination.

Call it whatever you like, the experiences forever change those who have them.

Forever is a long time. I can't think of anything to give that title to personally. Are you exagerating or is it really that deep in your experience?

Personally, it makes no difference what is experienced, I remain trapped in a world of piss and shit. I'll drag my feet to my grave.

If your changed once to any degree, you're forever changed. We are all constantly changing - some quicker and more so than others. The depth of the change varies from person to person. Some people who have these NDEs, for example, come out with entirely different personalities and goals in life. Every day they stop to smell the roses - each moment becomes something beautiful, a gift.
Personally, my first OBE re-enchanted my life. It brought a magic, a lightness back into my life. I was suffering from serious depression in the months prior - the something that seemed to be missing from my life was found. The thing is, the experience has to be experienced first hand - no second hand accounts will do. The Universe seemed to send me down the rabbit hole in a fantastic spiral, and I am forever changed and forever thankful.

Being "trapped" in a perspective you could choose to take on - we all certianly feel that way at times. Another way to look at it is that your consciousness is not dependent on the world of form - that the world of form is actually in your consciousness. If you were in a lucid dream right now would you feel trapped?

I was having some incredible sex this morning, best I've had in quite a while. Fucked my girl good. Took a breather, then started licking her pussy and getting her rerevved for round 2. I thought it tasted a little irony. After round 2 I saw the blood.
Shit and piss aren't always bad but I could do without em. lol
