the trinidad scorpions have yellowing leaves but i doubt its a nitrogen deficiency. i think its iron deficiency but have looked around and nothing is definite.
the e novos have leaf curl. they were given miracle gro fertilizer at a very diluted ratio. nothing significant really.
i'm stumped. anybody got a clue?

I wouldn't use miracle gro it always seems to wilt plants, give it some fox farm nutrients and it should be good to go.  Trust me! http://www.walmart.com/ip/FoxFarm-Nutrient-Trio-Soil-Formula-Liquid-Fertilizer/19684944

thats good stuff. i know that. i use miracle gro on almost anything and everything.
i must also mention that i had an aphid infestation one of the trinidads and my gardenia.
solved that with a little insecticidal soap.all the leaves fell off the trinidad but it is regrowing them into that ugly picture.

I also see bubbling in the leaves,which my Psychotria is suffering from.Hell it actually looks just like what you're experiencing.I'm not sure what it is though?As for miracle grow,I've used it since the 90's on all my plants,including Cannabis,and it is just as good as all those over priced fertilizers that people swear by,because they all consist of the same damn stuff!I actually got some fox farm free from a buddy,and did an experiment with two of the same plants,and the miracle grow actually out performed the fox farm

i hate tHAT i cant give them what they need. i have only a few peppers left to make salsa with then thats it. i'm out.
i got about 36 trinidad sproutlings and i know there are many more on the way.

Could it be a magnesium deficiency?
Bear with me now, this is an old wives tale I have followed when growing my tomato and pepper plants. What I was "taught" was to add a teaspoon of Epson salts to the bottom of my hole when I initially planting the to protect against the blight: along with an occasional watering with a teaspoon of Epson salts to prevent curling and yellowing leaves. I watered them once a month with this solution. This method has never really let me down with regular garden tomatoes and peppers.

Feed them some calcium and magnesium...hold off the watering will help and will make them hot....

Ferrel are you feeding the peppers full strength miracle grow ferts if not I would and also give them a good dose of seasole or simular seaweed solution

thanks guys.
i gave them iron ferts. i got some epsom salt and i will use that too.
looks like the older leaves on the trinidad are greening up.
not as fast as the bag says but you know how advertisements go.

What have you used to raise the calcium levels of your plants?? I tend to save my egg shells and. crush them into a fine powder with a pestle and mortar, then sprinkle said powder around my plants. I know they contain calcium carbonate (CaCO3), but I have never got a straight answer on the percentage of CaCO3...
Just curious is all (sorry to hijack the thread ferrel)

There are plenty other nutrients out there.
I can not remember the name but it is in lowes with in a white jug and a yellow top.
This company also makes root power for cloning.
The nutes must be mixed with water in the correct ratio on the instructions.
It is more work but I've always had extreme success with my jalepenos.
Or maybe mixing my own nutes is more of a ritualistic thing.
When I neglected to water one hot summer I mixed two tablespoons of root power in a gallon of water. The watered the soil heavily. They recovered in 2 days and took off again.

its cool. i have lots of eggshells and was talking to a shroomerite about it.
he said eggshells are just really a waste unless you have a sure fire way of grinding them up so fine they actually dissolve in water. other than that its impossible for them to breakdown and plants to consume it.
anyone else care to rebuttal?

use diluted milk,just make sure later on you go out,and flush some fresh water through it,so it doesn't smell.I did this not knowing if it would work or not,but it turns out it's great for plants and The main fertilizer components of milk are calcium and phosphorus:-)

really, i think its been too hot lately. if i could get an indoor setup that would help out greatly.
though my wife would never allow because she knows what i would be tempted to grow.

compost and compost tea are great. If you get it right you may not have to fertilize at all.
