Not only does it leave users stone-cold sober, it also doesn't induce the munchies, the hunger pangs that the drug's smokers generally suffer.
Despite the innovation, it is unlikely to have any impact on Israeli law, which outlaws the use of marijuana as illegal except for medical purposes.
According to figures published earlier this year by Sheba Medical Centre and the Israel Cancer Association, medical marijuana has been approved for use by about 6,000 Israelis suffering from various illnesses.

First of all, why would anyone even bother with smoking it if there is no THC in it anymore, why not just make a tincture and get the benefits?
Second, THC will NEVER be phased out, who really believes that.
Third, Thank god this bunk weed doesn't make you hungry because that means THC infested bud does, and still has a place in the medical community.
Now, is this a result of selective breeding or genetic modification?
Seeing as they just discovered the complete cannabis genome and such

this qft. now i'm glad i've saved at least one seed out of every bag i've bought and every bud i've grown in the last 5+ years. i always told myself that someday it's going to be hard to get good strong weed for cheap (either cheap mexican swag, or expensive dank, no thanks to either) and that i'd better hang on to some.....

This high CBD weed is exactly what the cannabis world needs to show more people that this plant actually does have medicinal purpose. Ever smoked a high CBD strain? You still get faded, you can just think clearer. We're on our way to making a more well rounded high IMO.

Dunno bout that. The notion that this is just a "High CBD strain" came from one of the posters on here.
The article itself says this is a cannabis "without the high". That means no effects at all, not even a faded state where clear thoughts are maintained.
They also said no munchies, which is something caused by CBD mainly, correct? So that means it's not just the equivalent of a high-CBD/low-THC strain.
