Here are some more values to play with, these affect text color
Code:

A:link {color: rgba(0,0,0,0) !important;}

A:visited {color: rgba(0,0,0,0) !important;}

A:active {color: rgba(0,0,0,0) !important;}

A:hover {background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0); color: rgba(0,0,0,0) !important;}

Alternately, if you don't plan on changing the opacity of your text you can use hex values

A:link {color: #000000 !important;}

A:visited {color: #000000 !important;}

A:active {color: #000000 !important;}

A:hover {background-color: #000000; color: #000000 !important;}

Remember to hard refresh (Ctrl+F5) after making changes.

I'll give some :mushroom2:

if they can make a skin with this image. for some reason when I try to use this image, there's still the shroomery logo along with it's normal blue color

Also, the fourth number in the series denotes the amount of opacity.

I took Gravijas code and added a bit to it to make it more readable. There still are some errors like the post counter is still white and the [Re: xxxx] are still colors that I don't want them to be, but everything else seems to work properly.

EDIT:
While in post preview quote box text shows up white. Also, while editing posts the "mark as edited" and the other options show up white....don't feel like fixing that stuff right now.

There were a lot of problems with it but then I just switched up the default to desert classic and it looks good. So if you haven't already I suggest doing that.
