He represents the greed and corruption of the church, to me. Lucifer is of different origin than satan, from my understanding, but are ultimately the same thing.

So do you then worship he who represents the greed and corruption of the church? I'm not sure if I understand. Do you not worship Satan? If not, how is it that you are a Satanist?

Hmm, let me rephrase that. He is the revelation of the church for all its greed and corruption. No i do not worship him for he is not real. I respect the ideals of his philosophy but i refuse to bow down to anything, much like many satanists.

How can you speak of "his philosophy" or "he is the revelation" when you don't believe he exists? Do you believe he once existed?
I'm not trying to be a troll. I'm just trying to wrap my mind around something I've never understood.

LeVay is not the modern creator of satanism in most aspects. He learned satanism on his travels throughout his...circus shows, where he played organ. He was just the first to document "modern satanism". There are a few different sects of "satanism", but i am just considering the church of satan to be actual satanism.
