I never chose my ideology.
Satanism has no faith, so not a religion (well, it's kinda like bhuddism in that sense. It wants to get rid of theism), it's all about having common sense and practicing morals, until forced to not.

True that. I feel the same way. I want to one day make up some elaborate ritual and do it out in the woods at night or something similar. Acting weird and out of character can often have a profound effect on the mind. Perhaps I'll do it one day.

He represents the greed and corruption of the church, to me. Lucifer is of different origin than satan, from my understanding, but are ultimately the same thing.

Hmm, let me rephrase that. He is the revelation of the church for all its greed and corruption. No i do not worship him for he is not real. I respect the ideals of his philosophy but i refuse to bow down to anything, much like many satanists.

LeVay is not the modern creator of satanism in most aspects. He learned satanism on his travels throughout his...circus shows, where he played organ. He was just the first to document "modern satanism". There are a few different sects of "satanism", but i am just considering the church of satan to be actual satanism.

I know what Satanism is about... I just think it is unnecessarily provocative. I mean come on, the name itself is flaunting something. I don't find it necessary to attach a label to myself because I find great ideas from a lot of different traditions, even some hidden within the mainstream monotheistic traditions. If you want to call yourself a Satanist to scare all the Bible-toting fundamentalists, then go for it... I find it kind of funny how it all plays out. But keep in mind the option is always available to step out of all that. You could read the Black book, the Good book and even the Red book and you may find even more about yourself.

Like i said, i'm not an "actual" satanist. I also have learned a few things from every religion. The teachings of the bible aren't bad, it's just the modern church.

the modern church sort of gave satanism its imagery in a way, because they took everything that used to be pagan about earth-worship and put satanic imagery to it, making people think that rocking out is bad when really it is the best thing you can do besides attain high levels of enlightenment. Christianity has us all so confused

The church of satan is a scam, yes. All churches are. In a different way than the christian church though. The fee is there so ONLY actual applicants try to discover where the churches are. The fee is also there to line someones pocket.

According to the average christian, anyone who hangs out here must automatically be a satanist. We are all satanists by their definition. There was a thread by someone going on about leaving the board and quitting drugs because it is satanic behaviour.

I listen to mostly reggae brah. I'm a stoner first. I listen to some death metal like suicide silence, elena siegman, and six feet under. I don't like the bad vibes from it. I also love techno and southern rock.

The garden of eden never existed(unless you count the vast untamed wilderness.), nor did god. But i'm assuming this hypothetical so i will answer it. Simply because god didn't want them to learn that sinning was fun.
Once again satan is symbolic, not real. It could be that he is a rebellious little bitch who hated the church as well. But since he didn't come into christianity until the 16th century when the catholic church was low on funds, it makes good sense why he hated them. Or it also could of been because he knew that these gods were all just a fallassy (my spell checker aint working for shit on that word). And he wanted to correct the errors of their ignorance.

Black Metal is my primary choice of metal.

Classical is another favorite of mine, world music, ancient revival, old sounds, like shamans on drums in the woods, Organic music.
There really is no bound, Jazz, Blues, 60's 70's tunes.
No limit really, just anything that gets the job done.
I look for music with "Intent" behind it. True intent. Manifesting intent.
Something that leaves impressions, and can accomplish a certain manipulation of emotions/reality.
I USE Black Metal and Ambient music to reach altered states of consciousness without the use of substances.
Also with the assistance of my Grado PS500's. Top Tier Audiophile headphones - hand-built in New-York - truely been a favorite of mine for years, so I splurged on their 2nd best model.
Worth every penny when it comes to enjoying music.
I Forgot to add that I used to play in a "Blackened" Brutal Death Metal band called "Gallowgeist" for about 4 years.
We split up due to me leaving the band to pursue other musical projects with meaning and intent, rather than just having fun, trying to be "heavy"
So I work now on two Black Metal projects locally right now - "Bestial Horde" which is a purely satanic black metal approach - and "HellKommand-666" - a "Black & Roll" concept, just use Motorhead style riffs and classic metal to headbaning ferocity. (See Aura Noir, Late Darkthrone, Carpathian Forest, etc. etc.

Haha, hmm, well she is absolutely beautiful - personality wise, and physically - She wants nothing but the best for me, and does what she can to make me happy - I return the favor - so it evens out.
She is an artistic machine - she produces so many styles of art, that I can not actually keep up with her - whether it is paintings or clothing, or jewellery.
I carries into her personality, and is as alive as the work she produces.
