did you tell them about how they built the pyramids and then plowed an ape which gave birth to a human? that'll probably convince them. just make sure you have a couple charts and a youtube video to support your argument.

Aliens are undeniable.  If there were plants on mars they would be considered aliens.  Even humans are aliens, that's part of the sercet.

We aren't talking about mexicans. We're talkin about extraterrestrail aliens. Not the border jumping ones.

I think the word UFO is the biggest misconception when it comes to discussing the unknown with people who can't be bothered with that kind of stuff.

Someone will say, "I saw a ufo the other day. Based on it's movements and such I couldn't identify it with something I know of, so it's a ufo."

Then someone will say " Dood your retartd. Aliens don't exist. You didn't see an alien spacecraft or whatever."

My father is really interested in all that stuff though. He's always been open minded about things though, maybe too much. I think he wants to believe they exist so much that sometimes he'll blow things out of proportion, but It's fun having conversations with him about the cosmos and such.

we don't even know what the universe is yet, so much unknown in addition we don't know how life was first formed.  Its impossible to know if there is life out there, or if any of this is even real as some theorys say this could be a virtual reality.  Maybe what caused life to start is extremely rare, maybe earth only rare.  Not only do we need what started life we need the right conditions for it.  In addition life on a planet is most likely limited, maybe there's only one life and it planet jumps when its about to die in a sense.

I mean think about earth by time we find another planet and the means to get to it, earth will be pretty much boned.

but back to the parents, im sure they grew up hearing all about aliens and crap too but they lived and watched, and nothing happened so i could see where they would just laugh at the idea 60 years later.  Now u might disagree by saying they are out there somewhere but we've spent a far amount of time and yes its a tiny bit on the scale of things, but still we only found enough earth like plants to fit on one hand i believe?  not to mention all of them are so far away, they might as well not exist.

If nothing happens on Dec 21st its because the eschaton has arrived on a chemical..4-acO-DMT. Inject it to merge with the Machine-God you are. You will think its Dec 21st..then when you come down you will be sadly disappointed that it was just a drug :crankey:

When you actually think about how many Earth like planets there are per galaxy, then the number of Galaxy's nearby, and just keep extrapolating it, it seems undeniable that there has to be some sort of life elsewhere. Basically the Drake equation. It'll be impossible to tell really, unless we make some really significant improvements in our ability to see into far distant Galaxy's.

I'm not sure what I believe, but it's fun to theorize :awehigh:

I heard a crazy theory once that your reality could really just be a brain they kept alive somehow with a bunch of electrodes on it feeding it the proper stimuli that would cause the brain to produce it's own reality. When you break it down that's kind of what reality it. Your brain interpreting a bunch of different senses and inputs at the same time. Obviously there's more to reality than that, but it's interesting to think about. I found a video about it once, but I looked for it a while ago and couldn't find it.

You had a drug induced trip. Doesn't make it fucking true. s

I had a mushroom trip where I thought I was Jesus. Does that make me jesus? Hell no.

So stop talking about your fucking trip. I'm sure it was profound and crazy and all that shit, but it was a drug altering your brain chemistry making you experience a drug induced trip.

That's all it is.

I actually had a mushroom trip where i realized Christianity was based off of psilocybin mushrooms. I was prancing around doing acts of goodwill thinking I was Jesus Christ himself..this was when i was first discovering the mushrooms power.

This is MUCH different. I can relate to your experience and my message is that this just on another level. I cant express this enough.

You took a drug, you had an experience.

You're delusional if you think it has any basis in reality.

Whatever. You put a drug in your body, you got drug related results.

That's what drugs do. Just don't be one of those diluted hippies that think that every time they trip it's a real divine experience, cause it's not.

It depends what divine is.

These drugs show that reality is very fragile, so anything is possible.
