There's nothing good about death

It's the end of everything you are. Nothing good about that or transcendent or anything. We need to fix this whole death thang. We also need to learn how to resurrect dead people through time travel somehow.

Disagree. The human being is eternal and its imagination i believe can live many lives. This life is just another stepping stone of the philosopher...me and you.

No. The human being is not eternal. When you die you rot in the ground or burn to ashes. Is there a soul or something that survives death? Maybe. But that doesn't matter.

True. But I think our lifespans are way too short. We should leave when we decide we no longer want to live and not be constrained to biology.

The relative shortness of our lifespan gives us out potency and meaning in life.
Death allows us to experience life.

imagination...soul..same thang. The very center essence of ourselves is eternal. Everything attached is for human purposes and we wont need when we reach death.

I would I may have to put the concept into more absorb-able words to a 3 year old.

Nobody knows what happens after death.
Nobody can prove they know either.
Talking about it is a waste of time.

No. Not really. I complain about how we use our resources inefficiently. I do complain about dumbasses who have like 20 kids who end up being criminals. But that's different.

I don't see life as having meaning regardless of the magnitude of its duration, but that's just my personal view. Life allows me to experience life and I'm not going to lie, I'm a bit flabbergasted.
Maybe I should just spawn a few children or something.

OP, I understand your opinion and respect it, for I too have pondered it for a long time.
But just because the west views death as a terrible thing (a great example that I love would be capital punishment..in this instance, death is the worst punishment you could ever receive) doesn't mean a) that's how it is and b) that's how the rest of the world sees it.
In the East, death is just viewed as another jump in the dark, like every new moment in time. Sure, there is the idea of reincarnation for many, many people, so whatever actual death is like isn't known until you're there for yourself and experiencing it.
Eastern logic would be in this sense, why are you wasting your life thinking about death? How many people throughout history have bickered away about these metaphysical questions, only to end up on their death bed regretting the time they have wasted? Just live.
Yes, the West does need to figure out their problems with death. The East has already solved it

TL;DR death isn't the problem, it's the way our society perceives it. Indulge in Buddhism for all answers.
