Butcrack rash after wiping with used menstrual tissues.

I went to a party 2 days ago, and took some xtc. Later that night I decided to take a dump, only to realize after the deed that there wasn't any toilet paper left. It was the kind of dump that you couldn't leave unwiped: wet and dirty. Seeing as how I was on the ladies toilet, I decided to take some of the paper out of the lady-waste basket. It was disgusting, it was filled with bloody rags crumpled around used tampons, but I didn't really give a shit at the time. So I wiped with those.
Fast forward two days, and I now have an itchy, painful rash in my upper but-crack. Does anybody have any idea what it could be?
(and please, I understand the humour of this post, but try to remain serious and helpful)

you definately can. Butt-crack herpes is also genital herpes and the next flare-up you have will be on your dick. I hope thats not what happened, I would definately get it checked out if I were you. Are there blisters? or just a rash? It could be other things. I'd have found a rag or towel to wipe my ass on instead

Ok but what's the point in getting it checked out? Is it not so that there's no cure for herpes?

It's a slightly red, textured rash about the same size as a circle made by touching your index-finger and thumb. I have a slight burning, stingy sensation. I find the fact that it is on the upper extremity of my butt-crack and not actually on the area that I used the menstrual-rags to wipe my ass on (which would actually be in the area of my anus, but there is zero rash there) hopeful, as it is a factor which suggests it might not be related to ass-wiping incident at all.

they can give you cream to stop the itching and burning, and I think you need to know if you have herpes, or you can just go along spreading it to everyone

So I can never again have unprotected sex without giving other people herpes, if it turns out I have it...?

Look at it this way, it's the perfect chance to branch out into different dating demographics.

and all at once OP. I'm no doctor but, herpes is actual sores man. It is possible and not uncommon to have only one sore or many during a break out but these man are painful open sores not a rash.
There are man infections you could have gotten from this, like HIV so I would keep that in mind and just splash and rinse. But a yeast infection is possible too.

I don't think it's herpes. Herpes probably wouldn't show up that soon.
But, yeah that's a little...
I'd definitely go get it checked out. At the very least, get an STD test. HIV won't show up on a test until after at least a month. The others will show up pretty soon--like a week or two.
Good luck man, I wouldn't fret too much. Probably just some random rash.

It could be a whole range of things. Herpes probably wouldn't show up that quick, but you could have contracted herpes as well as something else - genital warts, gonorrhea, syphilis, god only knows what.. The only thing filthier than wiping your shitty arse with bloody pads is not getting your arse checked when it becomes infected with some sort of disease. I seriously hope for your sake you are trolling.

Actually, for many people, they can carry (and spread) the virus but only get mild symptoms like a red rash, spots, itchiness, or no visible symptoms at all. Just like with cold sores, some people get big nasty sores, while others get slightly cracked lips, or nothing at all.

Too bad, I was kinda hoping you were gonna say the exact same thing happened to you wishful thinking I guess.
But it's kind of you to be concerned about how it turned out, thanks for that.
And I guess we've all learned our lesson concerning alternative toilet paper, never use used menstrual paper, however tempting.

LOL the muslim hand wipe, im laughing so hard right now. People actually still do wipe with their asses with their bare hands in some countries where toilet paper is seen as a spoiled brat western luxury. Humans have been wiping their asses with their hands and leaves for thousands of years though.
