So I went back and picked some of these guys, here is a link to some photos of the patch, same ones I think, but just to be sure;

I have more photo's if thats any use to anyone, there where several other varieties of mushroom at the site, I will upload picks of a few different sorts for the experts.

Well I'm definitely not a trusted identifier, but I'm not %100 sure they are psilocybe subaeruginosa, they look very similar in the individual photo's, but i have never seen them grow in bunches like that!

They look fine to me. I have found them in clusters before, but not a big cluster like that. Looks like you've found yourself a good patch.

It is unusual for them to grow in clusters like that. Just make sure they bruise blue like singult said.

well, I wasn't confident in making a 'spore print', but I had chucked them into a paper bag and one happened by accident, I don't know if the quality of the light in the photo is sufficient for identification but I have uploaded a photo anyway;

I really appreciate the feedback, this is my first time picking wild mushrooms and I am understandably nervous about being poisoned and dying TimmiT if you could take one more look at the new photos, I *think* they exhibit the blue bruising, and I *think* that the spore print has a brown-purplish color but I would certainly appreciate an experienced eye giving them a look over.
