Having been born and raised in FL however, I do admit, I am THE biggest nerd in existence when I am able to venture anywhere that is located even remotely higher than sea level, or pretty much any landscape that is not bordering an ocean or some sort of swampland.
The first time I was ever able to travel to the West coast, on my flight to California, I almost shat my pants when we started flying over the desert and mountains in what I assume was somewhere in Nevada/Arizona/one of those beauties. I had never witnessed such a magnificent sight as when my floridian eyes had the pleasure of gazing upon the sheer vastness of that desert landscape. Our Earth's diversity really is awe-inspiring.
Also, now that I think about it, I get a little freaked out thinking about permanently settling down in a landlocked location. I don't plan on buying a permanent house until I am much, much older.. but when I do, it will most certainly be located amongst some sort of body of water.
Because, you know.. Aliens.

1. Morocco
2. Peruvian Mountains
3. Mostly anywhere in the Italian countryside. Also, Venice. (yay for no motor vehicles whatsoever!)
4. Alaska
5. Easter Island in its cultural prime
oh god, i could go on and on. I'm just gonna get an RV with a houseboat attached, and that will be my permanent moving home. I will go wherever, whenever... anyone want to come along for the ride?

Why thank you. I'm mostly a lurker, pretty much every day. Was the subject of a quite dramatic and entertaining ordeal on here not too long ago. But other than that I tend to just enjoy being entertained by all you (mostly)crazy and beautiful (mostly)like-minded people here in the ShroomeryFamily.
I think I'm ready to start jumping in on the convo's though. I think i have enough insight and knowledge or at least enough semi funny jokes to add to a thread or two.
