I ain't found Jack.. About 5 wet grams of P. cyan and a wet gram of cubes. I have free range of one huge, i mean huge pasture. I can walk around it all day though I still stay discrete so I'm not obvious. My first year in Florida so it sucks to have such free range with no luck. Only had about three inches of rain since last year with a majority of it in the past two weeks.
I checked all the field had to offer on multiple occasions and different hours of the day. Grasslands, swamp, a man made pond, a small pine Forrest, and an oak Forrest all within the pasture. The P's were in the oak and the cubes were under the pines. Just not a good time for north Florida.
Just sticking to controlled cultivation for now. I prefer the thrill of the hunt but it's been nothing but a heard of cows following me around.
Anyone have any luck around Putnam, duval, St John's?

look....no matter what the squirrels and armadillo will dig in the patties. the different mycelliums growing attract bug. Contrary to what the hippies say on here CUT STUMPS should not be left. When a mushroom ends or close to endeing, it stops fighting of bacteria, molds and other fungi. Those come in pretty quick in this new MacroHighway youve introduced. NOW if the mycellium has weakened because the environmental changes are higher then cubes enjoy them to be then the consumers are coming direct contact AND are strong because of the food you have left(cut stump). Understand this is the wild and many factors are involved and the rant is my own........but it is in trial and error over the last twenty years especially in fields that I am the only one collecting.

Can I get a positive ID on these cubes. They were found by the fence in this cow field in the 352. I didnt venture deep into the field but I scanned the outer edges inder the tree lines but these were the only ones found. It needs to rain here :p.

The white things in the sky are clamoring with grumbles and waves of dark matter are covering the sun, maybe shrombulus the god of fungi is planning on visiting the earth.

mod edit:
5. Do not make threads or posts discussing or reporting the weather. This includes complaining about the weather, asking if the current weather is "good for shrooms", or how long to wait after rain fall to go hunting. As a general rule of thumb, if it has rained within the last 1-10 days, and the temperatures are correct for the type of mushroom you're looking for, and the time of year is correct then it is very likely that the mushroom you are looking for is growing.
